Ozzy Osbourne will be spending much of the foreseeable future on the road as the heavy metal icon has announced plans to launch an 18-month world tour in support of his new album, Scream, which arrives June 15.There’s more good news. Osbourne’s return to the road will also signal the return of Ozzfest, which became a destination festival in 2008.
Full dates for the trek will be announced next week.
Meanwhile, Osbourne gave fans a taste of the new album by debuting the first single, “Let Me Hear You Scream,” on this week’s episode of CSI: NY. Other titles include "Diggin Me Down," "Let It Die," "Soul Sucker," "Fearless," "I Want It All," "Time," "Crucify" and "I Love You All."
Scream is the first album to feature guitarist Gus G. The Greek heavy metal guitarist who played with Ozzy at the 2009 BlizzCon Festival closing ceremony, takes over from Osbourne’s longtime sidekick Zakk Wylde. Story from Gibson.com
